Shaughnessy

A 9,000 square foot garden in the Shaughnessy neighbourhood was designed as a series of individual gardens on different levels to accommodate a wide variety of activities. Major elements of the design included a teak deck, raised parterre rose garden, sunken patio, heavy timber arbours, wrought iron gates and railings, and a custom outdoor spa for eight. Natural stone was used extensively for walkways and walls, while architectural concrete and glass tile add a colourful touch to the patio and spa terrace in the rear. Planting of a number of large specimen trees give the garden a mature character, fitting comfortably into the grand old neighbourhood context.
